Statement from Robert Luff & Co on Corona Virus

Like everybody, we are very concerned about the outbreak of the Coronavirus and have taken steps to minimise the effect on staff, clients and the business in general.

In the short term we have relocated staff who may be at a heightened risk to a non-public facing office to reduce the chances of coming in to contact with any bugs but you will still find a full team in each and every branch.

All colleagues have received up to date information about the issue and we’ve made sure that they are following Government advice.

We’re postponing any non-essential meetings such as those with suppliers and we’re making good use of Skype to conduct virtual face2face meetings

Property buyers and sellers may be starting to feel wary too, we understand that.

But here at Robert Luff and Co we’re keen to take all steps to protect everybody but also to keep calm and carry on.

So we’ll be here to help people find their next home by increasing the use of virtual 360 degree tours as well as the integration of more comprehensive photos and floorplans. Buyers will still be able to view, but we hope to reduce the number of ‘wasted’ appointments looking at unsuitable homes.

We’re not underestimating the severity of this worldwide problem which experts hope will pass within a matter of weeks or perhaps months. We’re here to help anyone thinking of moving now and can either market their home immediately or prepare everything now in readiness for full marketing at a later date.

So as much as possible it is ‘business as usual’ whilst we carefully watch for Government updates.
