Robert Luff & Co are going Greener in 2022

January always signifies a chance to make small changes to our lives, be it health, saving money or just simple changes to our routines and Robert Luff and Co are no different. This year we have decided to make 22 small positive changes to the way we operate our business in a bid to be more environmentally friendly.
Since we opened our first Worthing Town Centre Branch in Rowlands Road all those years ago focusing on customer delight within local estate agency our business has grown from that one Town Centre Branch to 5 Branches covering more of Worthing, Lancing, Shoreham and now Brighton and Hove. Services we offer have increased from simply selling property, to lettings, property management, commercial property and investments.
But along the way I think we have to admit something that we haven’t done as well as we could…
In the daily rush of our busy Branches, particularly over the last year, we haven't paid enough attention to the impact our growing business has on the World around us. The Pandemic and Lockdowns have really highlighted areas that we could improve.
Like so many people and businesses around the world, there is more we could do to reduce the impact our business has on the environment, and this year, we’ve decided to make 22 small changes as a step to change that.
We won’t be doing this by simply telling our colleagues to recycle more or use the car less - this is going to be a journey, a learning curve and hopefully an interesting and fun experience for all of us. Everyone will play their part and ideas from everybody will be welcomed.
So what do we have planned?
Well the thing is, to keep ourselves motivated, we don’t want to bring out a long list of objectives. It’s a long journey ahead but each step will get us closer to our overall goal, so we’re going to keep it simple, and motivating.
Every month we’ll be announcing another step - it could be something easy or it could be something that takes time to plan and implement. But we’ll publish each one on our website and social media so our followers can check in to see what we’re doing and help keep us on track because if there’s one thing we don’t do at Robert Luff, it’s promising something and not delivering!
Whats our first pledge?
We've decided this month to try and cycle to more local Town Centre viewings on our Robert Luff & Co bicycle this month rather than use our Luff mobiles. We'll be mapping out these journeys to post on our social media so keep an eye on our Facebook and Instagram pages to see what we've been up to.
We'll be rolling our our second pledge towards the end of the month....watch this space.
