Home Sale is Right On Track for Goring Branch

Robert Luff's Goring Branch have just sold an almost unique property - sold for only the second time since built.

The former Station masters home adjacent to Goring Station was sold originally by British Rail back in the 1980's and will change hands again this month when the sale completes.  The property dates from the 1890's, a time when there was a massive expansion of the rail network, allowing Worthing and the surrounding villages to become accessible to day trippers and residents at last had the ability to communte.

The 3 Bedroom detached property harks back to another era with many original features some of which, oil heating, and cess pit drainage, may not be quite as welcome as the beautiful cornices and dado rails!

The property sold for close to it's £309,000 asking price, somewhat more than the £75,000 price tag when it last sold 18 years ago.

Jamie Bryant, Partner of Robert Luff explains "We had a lot of interest in the house and not just from trainspotters!  It really is a great position with lovely views across open countryside and people really liked the character of the place.  And Communters could get a precious extra few minutes in bed, it's just a few steps to the train!"

Jamie is getting something of a reputation for selling the town's quirkier buildings, having recently sold property as diverse as a beautiful 18th Century thatched bungalow through to an abandoned town centre pub!  "I love the variety of a property we get at Robert Luff and Co - every day is different." says Jamie.
