The Next Property Hotspot Revealed
10 Mar, 2015
Who would have thought that London’s Brick Lane would regenerate and become what it is today? Or that demand for Worthing Seafront with it’s million pound plus properties and new, cool nightlife would happen so quickly? Or that the rush to buy property in London would boost prices so much in Brighton and Hove raising values in Shoreham as buyers searched for new, more affordable locations?
And that’s why we’ve had our eye on Lancing for a while now.
Perfectly placed just three miles East of Worthing, Lancing is becoming known as the area’s best kept property secret. A busy railway takes commuters to work in Haywards Heath, London, Brighton, Portsmouth and beyond. Beautiful South Downs walks or mountain biking are literally just a few minutes away and what is at the end of the main shopping parade? Lancing Green – a huge open space leading to the beach.
But what about the house prices?
Well, according to Zoopla’s index the average sold price is £239,341 which is a huge £74,000 less than nearby Worthing and a massive £111,000 less than Brighton which just goes to show what great value there is to be had.
But be quick!
Prices in the Village rose 7.33% last year, significantly more than both Brighton and Worthing.
It seems this little property hotspot isn’t going to be secret for long.
